Public Transport from Alicante Airport to Benidorm

There are no train or tram stations at the air hub.If you wish to travel by train, you can take C6 Bus Line to Luceros train station or Mercado tram station. It stops at both stations and the cost of a one-way ticket is just €3.85.

Mercado Tram Station: A tram departs every 30 minutes and reaches Benidorm at 1h 8m. The cost of a single ticket is €4–€6.

Luceros Train Station: Similar to Mercado tram station, the train departs every 30 minutes from Espinosa De Villagonzalo, Luceros to Palencia, Benidorm. It reaches the destination significantly faster at 40 mins but the fare is €8–€9. It’s a bit expensive compared to tram.

Alsa Bus: The stop is located at the second level of the main terminal (departures). The bus will get you to Avenida Europa in the central Levante area. The cost of one ticket is €9.80.

Public transports are much cheaper compared to a transfer but they don’t come without cons:

• Going through a train will take you 2–3 times longer to reach your destination.

• Trams will take 3–4 times longer.

• Bus will take almost twice as     long.

• For those who’re worried about pickpocketing, a private car provides a stress free experience.

Benidorm is 58 km from the air hub. But guess how long it will take for transfer service to reach it. Only 40 mins.
